How to Find and Download Community Builds
Your next park centerpiece doesn’t have to start with an empty construction grid. The Planet Coaster 2 workshop lets you download community-made coasters, water attractions, shops, scenery, and entire parks. Use those creations to expand your park or learn how a complicated design fits together.
The game uses Frontier Workshop for cross-platform creation sharing. You can browse online through the game’s Workshop page or access the Workshop portal on the right side of the in-game ride menus.
To get started:
- Sign in or create a Frontier account. You can do this through the website or the in-game Workshop portal.
- Choose the creation type. Filter for Blueprint when looking for individual builds, or Park when looking for a park to explore.
- Narrow the results. Use filters for themes, attraction types, services, scenery, and DLC.
- Find a specific design with its share code. The online Workshop includes a Sharecode field.
- Download the creation and test it in Sandbox. Examine its placement, cost, and operation before adding it to a managed park.
Search beyond coasters. The filters include changing rooms, power utilities, restaurants, station scenery, lazy rivers, and swimming pools. A themed restroom or facility shell can help finish an area just as much as another headline attraction.
Check each creation’s platform icons and DLC requirements before choosing it.
Test Blueprints Before Spending Your Park Budget
A striking thumbnail doesn’t tell you how much a ride costs or how it performs. Blueprint browsing doesn’t show all the ride statistics and construction prices you need, so open a Sandbox map and examine the build there.

Start with these checks:
- Build cost: Check the complete design’s price before committing your park’s budget.
- Excitement: Compare the attraction with your existing lineup. Guests have different appetites for thrills.
- Fear: Inspect this alongside excitement rather than choosing a ride on excitement alone.
- Nausea: Watch for designs with sustained forces and repeated inversions.
- Prestige: Consider the attraction’s scenery and music as well as its track layout.
Keep fear and nausea separate when comparing rides. A coaster can deliver substantial excitement without making both other ratings climb equally.
For example, Rambukk has an excitement rating of 5.42, fear of 3.03, and nausea of 0.82. Dune Coaster pushes excitement to 8.19, with fear of 6.33 and nausea of 2.63. Choose between those experiences based on the guests you want to serve.
If the track suits your park but the scenery doesn’t, remove the decorative pieces and save an adapted blueprint. This also gives you a way to reduce construction costs or replace the original theme with your own.
Community Rides and Share Codes to Explore
These designs cover coasters, flat rides, and different levels of ride intensity. Prices below are in-game construction costs.

| Build | Share code | Build cost | Excitement | Fear | Nausea |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jaw’Some | 39YPWWVBF | $98,263.53 | 6.41 | 3.97 | 1.14 |
| Throwing Knives Hellion Ring | 8YVH81H6B | $6,328.50 | 4.13 | 5.00 | 4.48 |
| Accelerator | 1NJRFGP10 | $56,069.54 | 2.25 | 1.13 | 0.35 |
| Loki | 8BJ3NVM0X | $10,163.50 | 2.97 | 3.0 | 2.02 |
| Rambukk | 60F3037RV | $57,370.92 | 5.42 | 3.03 | 0.82 |
| Dune Coaster | 891CTB6P8 | $101,313.82 | 8.19 | 6.33 | 2.63 |
Coasters with More Than Track to Study
Jaw’Some combines a coastal coaster with palm trees, a shaded queue, a gift shop, and Gelato Bros with seating. Inspect how the surrounding facilities support guests’ food, drink, rest, and shopping needs.
Accelerator pairs a steampunk appearance with comparatively low fear and nausea ratings. Its copper details and gears offer ideas for dressing a mechanical attraction without relying entirely on the track for visual interest.
Rambukk uses a Viking battering-ram concept and covered queue areas. Examine how its scenery carries that theme from the waiting area into the ride itself.
Dune Coaster features sandworm structures and speeds reaching 123.1 mph. Allow room in your budget for its $101,313.82 construction cost before bringing it into a managed park.
Flat Rides and Water Attractions
Throwing Knives Hellion Ring has a runtime of 144.35 seconds and costs substantially less than the coasters in the table. Compare its 4.48 nausea rating with the other designs before placing it.
Loki combines Norse decoration with synchronized flame and water effects. Study the relationship between its ride sequence and surrounding effects when planning your own themed flat ride.
For an aquatic build, search Viking Mythical Pool using share code 4CXJ8WN49. It costs $20,031.76 and combines two Body Flumes, a Body Slide, and a pool, along with shaded loungers and themed scenery.
Troubleshoot Placement and Missing Functionality
Check the build’s DLC requirements when an attraction uses content outside your collection. The Workshop includes a DLC filter, so use it while browsing rather than discovering a requirement after choosing a design.

For a placement problem, inspect the terrain around the intended location. Keep your game updated, too: Update 11 Hotfix 15, released August 25, 2026, fixed a terrain-intersection warning that prevented placement of the Phoenix ride blueprint.
That hotfix also restored custom music playback for the Fourth Wall and Cinema flat rides. If you’re working with those attractions, check your installed version before rebuilding their audio setup.
Once an attraction is placed, inspect its operation separately from its appearance. Review the required path connections, utilities, and staffing, and provide changing rooms and lifeguards where your waterpark needs them. A finished-looking blueprint still needs to fit into a functioning park.
Learn Building Techniques by Taking Blueprints Apart
Download a design that makes you wonder how it was built, then inspect its groups and individual pieces in Sandbox.
Focus on a specific question: how does that roof stay compact, how are those windows recessed, or how does the station blend into the terrain? Studying one detail gives you something concrete to recreate.
Understand Grid Pieces and Scenery Groups
Grid-based building pieces, including walls and roofing, cannot be scaled. Scenery pieces offer flexible positioning, rotation, and resizing.
Groups containing grid pieces inherit building-grid restrictions. Groups made entirely from scenery retain more freedom to rotate and scale.
Inspect both approaches in downloaded buildings. Use scenery pieces when you need tighter proportions, and combine them with building pieces when covering a facility.
Look for Depth, Scale, and Lighting
Compare the building with guest-sized objects before copying its proportions. Then examine the details that prevent it from looking like a plain box:
- Recessed windows instead of flat surface placement.
- Awnings, trim, and layered window frames.
- Small offsets or separately rotated building groups.
- Rocks, foliage, and foundations around elevated stations.
- Skylights and concealed spotlights inside buildings.
When creating your own version, build it aligned with the world grid before rotating the completed structure into position. This makes repeated scenery pieces easier to align with the world axes.
Prepare Your Own Builds for Sharing
Before uploading a blueprint, place it in Sandbox and inspect the complete creation. Check the scenery grouping, run ride tests, and examine the lighting inside enclosed spaces.
Use a descriptive name that identifies the attraction or facility and its theme. Include useful placement instructions and DLC requirements in the description so another player can understand what the build needs.
Adapt downloaded creations thoughtfully. Recoloring, retheming, and examining their construction can help you develop your own skills. Don’t re-upload someone else’s work without meaningful changes, and credit the original builder in your description when your upload incorporates a significant part of their design.
